ermm…  didn’t quite get the resolution I was hoping for but I’m sure there’s part of a pixel there that’s mercury.  James enjoyed using the telescope (the Great!) Uncle Fred bought him.

NB – we were very careful not to look directly at the sun or at it through the telescope without the filter.  However I did burn a small hole in the eclipse sun filter specs due to not thinking carefully enough.
